8kCanvas is a single shared digital canvas at 8K resolution, 7680 by 4320 pixels. Anyone can permanently claim pixels and register a display name, and optionally pixel art. Every claim is public and stays on the canvas forever.

There are two ways to claim. Placing pixels directly on the canvas costs 1.00 USD per pixel with no minimum. Building artwork in the creative builder costs 0.10 USD per pixel with a 5.00 USD minimum order. Prices are final and include any applicable VAT.

Yes. Once registered, your pixels are never overwritten, resold, or edited. Forever refers to the operational lifetime of the service. If the service is ever discontinued, we commit to publishing a final snapshot of the canvas and making claim data available for export.

No. There are no user accounts. You simply choose a display name at checkout. Your certificate is your proof of purchase.

For every full 5.00 USD of any order, we give 1.00 USD to a cause category you pick at checkout. The contribution comes from our own revenue: you pay one price, and we, as the donor, pass on the stated share to recognised charitable organisations in the EU and EEA. A public tracker shows what has been pledged and donated.

You receive a certificate as a keepsake and as the confirmation of your contract on a durable medium. It is available as an immediate download and as a copy by email, and it records your claim details, the supported cause, and your consent to immediate performance.

Claims cannot be edited after registration, which is what makes them permanent. We only remove a claim if it violates our Terms or the law, and where technically possible we refund the amount paid for a removed claim.

Letters including accents, numbers, and single spaces between words, from 3 to 80 characters. Names are reviewed and anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or otherwise prohibited is not allowed.

Your purchase is digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal lapses once performance begins. We still refund claims that we remove for a Terms violation where possible. Full details are on the withdrawal page.

We charge in US dollars; your bank or card may convert to your local currency. Prices are shown as final prices and include any applicable value added tax.

Every claim has its own page in the registry, and the registry is searchable by name. You can also jump to any coordinates on the canvas.
